In the Silence
… A yearning that must be satisfied.
This past weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, was dedicated to being in the “nothingness,” to listening, to feeling, and allowing the universal and spiritual wisdom and inspiration to find me sitting alone in my home, silent and contemplative.
My time was rich; it delivered things to me that I needed to feel, doubts that needed to be unearthed, and a path back to myself and my God. There was a time when this silence felt threatening, but no more. Silence is a part of my salvation, which I am constantly reaching for, which brings me back to the truth of my being.
