You are so Beautiful

You are so beautiful, born of stardust and magic. You opened your eyes and your light shone through. You cried to make your voice heard and you were heard. Your presence filled the room and the hearts of your mother and father and onlookers. The room was filled as you took your place amongst your human family. And the world was never the same again.

Each year you were celebrated as family and friends would gather to see you and love on you. You began to understand the world and engage in so many ways. And they looked on with awe and wonder because you were beautiful and adorable and sight to behold.

What if I told you, you are still that being, still that beautiful, still a miracle, still a sight to behold. The next time you walk by a mirror, look deep in your eyes, look long and hard, look past your experiences, look past your self-criticism, and keep looking until all you see is your beauty. Until all you see is that bit of stardust taking form in this human body.

Then go out in the world and be that - be that light, the magic, the love, and engage the world from that place. See how the world changes when you walk in that way.

As this Holy Season unfolds, embody the being that you are.
